4-Peter Mundy: He was an Italian traveller to the Mughal empire. He gave valuable information about the living standard of the common people in the Mughal Empire during the reign of Shahjahan.


5-Jean Baptiste Tavernier: He was a French traveller, offered his services during the reign of Shahjahan and Aurangzeb.

10-Nicolo Conti: He was a Venetian traveller, who has given an account of the Hindu kingdom of Vijaynagar.


11- I-tsing: He was a Chinese traveller who visited India in connection with Buddhism.


12-Shihabuddin al-Umari: Coming from Damascus, he gave a vivid account of India in his book, titled ‘Masalik albsar fi-mamalik al-amsar’.


13-Domingo Paes: He was Portuguese traveller who visited the court of Krishnadeva Raya of the Vijaynagar Empire.


14-William Hawkins: He was an English ambassador of British King James I, visited the court of Jahangir in the year 1609.


15- Francois Bernier: He was French physician and philosopher.
