1-In the Telugu epic “The Battle of Palnadu”, the Kalachuri are referred to as the Haihaya family of the Kona region

2-Between 624 and 1323, the Telugu language emerged as a literary medium alongside Prakrit and Sanskrit.

3-During the 11th century, the Mahabharata was partially translated by court poet Nannaya under the patronage of the Eastern Chalukya ruler Rajaraja Narendra.

4-The Eastern Chalukyas were a branch of the Chalukyas of Badami.

5-Pulakesin II conquered Vengi (near Eluru) in 624 and installed his brother, Kubja Vishnuvardhana (624-641), as its ruler.

6-Vishnuvardhana’s domain extended from Srikakulam in the north to Nellore in the south.

7-Modern Telugu script evolved from the old Telugu script from the 11th to the 19th centuries.

8-The Cholas at Talakad were defeated by the Hoysala ruler, Vishnuvardhana.

9-The Kalyani Chalukya fell with the death of Vikramaditya VI.

10-The Eastern Chalukya empire was divided into three kingdoms: the Hoysala Empire, the Kakatiya Kingdom and the Yadavas by the end of the 12th century.

11-The Chola dynasty ruled in Andhra from 500 AD to 1100.

12-Kakatiya claimed their Ancestors were Cholas.

13-The cholas were also called as Chodas.

14-The decline of Chola Dynasty lead to Emergence of Kakatiya Dynasty.

15-The Renati Chola dynasty ruled Rayalaseema from the fifth to the eleventh centuries from Cuddapa, Jammalamadugu.

16- The Chodas has marriage alliances with Vijayanagara Kingdom, many Polegars were also had Choda titles.

17-The First Telugu Inscription of Chola Erikal Mutturaju Dhananjaya Varma, known as Erragudipadu Sasanam was engraved in the 575 century A.D. in the present Kadapa District.
