1-The Chief Minister of Goa Manohar Parrikar has launched a farmer engagement app named ‘Jai Kisaan’ It is aimed to fulfill the needs of the farmer’s community in India.


2-The one rupee note has celebrated a century on 30th November 2017. It is issued by Ministry of Finance and it bears the signatures of Finance Secretary.


3-The first one-rupee note was introduced on November 30, 1917. It bears the photo of King George V.


4-Ankushita Boro, from Megaai Gairrani village in Assam, won the Best Boxer’ title in World Youth Women’s Boxing Championship held in Guwahati. She defeated Russia’s Ekaterina Dynnik in the 64kg final and thus clinched the fifth gold for India.


5-The Aids Day is selected on 1st December every year since 1988. The theme of 2017 Aids Day is ‘Right to health’. AIDS is s a pandemic disease caused due to the infection of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV).


6-Nagaland celebrates 54th formation Day on December 1. Nagaland state shares its borders with the state of Assam to the west, Arunachal Pradesh to the North, Manipur to the South and Burma to the east.


7-The Border Security Force has celebrated its 52nd formation day on 1st December 2017. KF Rustamji was the first Director General of BSF.


8-After the Indo-Pak and India-China wars, India’s Border Security Force was formed on December 1 in 1965.


9-The Armed Forces Flag Day is observed annually in India on December 7 since 1949.


10-The 7th edition of the Kathakar International Storytellers Festival that began at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts ( IGNCA), New Delhi was started under the aegis of UNESCO in 2010.


11-Prasar Bharati was established by a 1990 Act of Parliament, as an autonomous body. It comprises of Doordarshan television and All India Radio.


12-A. Surya Prakash has been re-appointed as the Chairman of Prasar Bharati Board.


13- Bollywood actress Dia Mirza has been appointed UN Environment’s Goodwill Ambassador for India.

14-The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is founded by Maurice Strong in June 1972.


15-India is re-elected to the Council of the International Maritime Organisation.


16-The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has 172 Member States and three Associate Members.


17-Amit Shah, President of the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP), was named Yahoo India’s ‘Personality of the Year’.


18-Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the most searched personality and bags Yahoo’s People’s Choice Award for Personality of the Year 2017.
